APIM Nav ?

If I put my non nav apim in an Explorer with Nav and run an update on my apim for the vehicle with Nav would it update my apim to that vehicle and add Nav and swap back into my Explorer? My apim is also on 3.8 already.

This is something I'm sure Jason (jmr061) would know about but my 'guess' would be NO.

No that won't work. For years Ford was using the same update for both Nav and non Nav. They finally separated them earlier this year. It won't add nav.
