Three or four weeks ago I instaled a MAC intake with Pro-M MAS

A week after that my Apten Chip went in.
Here are the combined results.
The chip install is VERY tedious ( sp? ) cleaning the terminals was a long drawn out process. I actually instaled the chip too soon and it did not start. So, when you insall your chip, just take your time and make sure you clean the terminals throughaly and properly. Expect to spend fifteen to 20 mineuts at least on this step.
Needed a helper to fish the switch cable through the fire wall and into the passenger compartment
It is not pin you in the back of the seat fast but this heavy, 4WD, about as areodynamic as a Twinkie SUV WILL SCOOT !!!!!!!!!!!!
Off the line is impressive, but nail it going 60, is out right unbelieveable for being in such a vehicle.
The switch cable ( likely by design ) is the EXACT length to go from the chip to the center console compartment. ( I was VERY pleased about that )
The differance between 92 and 87 performance is not a tremendous amount.
I had it on 92 for one week and have had it on 87 since then.
My MPG's have jumped tremendoulsy !!!!!!!!!!!!! Prior to these mods, 245 to a tank ( give or take ) was the norm.
Now 270 to 280 per tank, and that includes stomping on it from time to time.
All in all some of the best mod's I have done thus far. It was about what I was expection on preformance, but I was NOT expecting such MPG gains.
