I got a '99 EB. Yesterday, I started noticing that the headlights would stay on for approx 1 minute or 2 after I turn the car off, lock it, and walk away. I made sure the headlight knob was off and it still does it. It's been doing it now ever since I noticed it, but I'm FAIRLY certain it hasnt been doing it since I bought it last weekend, just since yesterday.

Can someone verify that this, in fact, is supposed to happen, or if something is ####ed up. It feel weird walking into my house at night knowing my lights are still on. Thanks.

Check your auto darkening slider on your mirror. Thats what its for. Give you light so you can see to unlock your door or whatnot.

Yeah you do have a slider on your mirror witch controls how long you lights stay on after the truck is turned off. So for instance it will keep your path lit tell you walk up to your door to go inside your house...

Roger that, they have it on most vehicles now. If you want it off, just slide the switch all the way to the left and it will turn off in a shorter interval.

Oh! OK, I had messed with that "delay" setting, but I thought it was for the rear view mirror to autodarken when it sensed bright lights instead of flipping it ourselves. Thanks guys.
