For your application, yes I think the hood scoop would look cool. But for his.......man it looks dumb. I hate the look of lowered EB's.

i take that back. i like his rims, his drop and his hood scoops. otherwise i think lowered eddies don't look to great, and i really don't like those headlight covers. also just because its awesome i thought i would post this pic of what his airbags are capable. wow would i love to merge his suspension and my x paint the vehicle with about 40 coats of black get some 22's and just kick it.

I don't like how LOW his truck is... And I'm kinda with Jason - with the big flares, they don't look so hot to me when they're that low.

Personally - I'd leave your truck at the height it is, give the motor the Troll treatment, then get those hood scoops. Maybe some nice 17 or 18 inch rims? Your truck is PHAT though.

wait a second, i think those are different vehicles. i just pulled them from my vast photo archives and i always thought they went together i just never looked at them at the same time before. i'm glad you think they would work on mine. it says they attach with 3m tape, which is nice (i like things that are reversible and cheap 79.99 plus shipping). do you think they would sit nice and flush on the hood? how do you guys think i should paint them? i'm thinking either just white to match or maybe some painted or vinyl flames?

bislam i agree, i would never want to be stuck that low i was just assuming that truck is on bags. as for the troll treatment i don't think i will be spending any more than the 3,000 that's in my mill know until it stops running or becomes a project only.

But really, when it comes to street, I don't go for "pimp" with huge rims and wild appearance items, I go for a clean (maybe even understated) appearance, and FAST.

bislam it's a secret didn't you read my sig. but here goes- theres improvements in the intake some cobra parts shoehorned in and some explorer parts, it already had the gt40, a cam from a crate, a few other parts from the crate mill like the injectors 'cause two of mine stuck and just about wrecked my mill, and a full exhaust. also it all runs despite my crazy driving habits and tendancy to break things that are hard to fix.

i sent you an pm. now let's get back on topic here. i want a ton of opinions about these things before i decide yes or now. i originally wanted a hood blister look instead, but i couldn't find one that i liked. early 80s mustang? the explorer express one? any other ideas. but these re growing on me

well to get painted professionally it should be about 100 dollars, but i'm thinking i may be able to get away with just some careful arctic white rattle canning.

I have been looking into hoods. The lund scoops looks great, but I would like to see some close-ups. I would probably get some can spray on these. I would hate to go somewhere and have them painted more then the worth of those lund stick ons. I also like "Troll' hood too. Even though it's a complete hood and all.
Expo, if you decide to get these(Lund) let us know how they are. I see they come in 2 different sizes. I like the looks on them on that white eddie.

yeah, i am a little concerned about the fit and finish on them. i would be getting the smaller of the two sizes. the seem to fit pretty well on that other truck i was kind of hoping someone here had seen them up close.

i saw these on a fullsize chevy today, and after getting a good look at them i too decided like they looked like someone stuck them there with two sided tape. for me they are going to be a no go. we can keep this open though if anybody else is considering them.

Yeah, they are stuck with double sided tape. I also agree with you tbomb with the lowered eddie's. They look awesome It's all about pride and personality,

they are not only stuck on with two sided tape- they look like they were stuck on with two sided tape as well. i don't mind lowered eddies, i just chose to get an xlt instead 'cause i prefer the cleaner look with the body 'cause it allows you to do more things without looking like it's too much. besides there aren't any options available on the eddies that i don't have in my truck.

expo5.0, cant you get cobra scoops installed on your hood? troll's got em, but i think his hood is all fiberglass; i think you can just get em and have em put on a regular hood
