I remember when Deaver first started. They made me a "custom" leaf pack for my ranger in '94 for $150. Sucked ass...

It's cool to see that they are and have been the go-to-guys for the desert peeps for the past few years now. I'll still go for Nationals when the time comes.

Yeah i might do that. I could have gotten a brand new set for 400$ but didnt have the case.

those were about a year old and were run on his friends truck, weren't they? (not that it really makes a difference) i think i called him to buy them from him like the day after he sold them

Yeah but they were never abused or anything. Ive seen the g50's brand new on a website for like 450$ though. Ill have to dig up that info.

Sean, I have a set of stock springs from my old 92 you can have if you want/need them. They've been chillin' in the back yard since '99 so they should still be ok.

Nope. Just had some more "important" things come up financially. I will have to get something soon though because my springs are getting really bad, even rubbing now and then on the road.

Well I just bought some 4" Superlift leafs. 4wheelparts is having a Christmas sale and I had another discount so with $$ being a bit tighter lately I took the more budget route. I paid somewhere around $300 for the set.

Did you buy them new? How much lift?

I did get them new. They are 4" lift springs for the front of the van, when I do the SAS.

youre going to SAS the van? awesome. if my dads 76 G30 was 4wd i might actually drive it. it has enough weight to plow through the snow though.

anyone have any rear lift springs they wanna get rid of cheap? since all you guys are talking about buying new ones i thought id see. i never did lift the rear to make it level, i still got front rake.

I hate to bump an old thread, but im looking for info on the Deaver G50 pack-

Are these meant as a spring under race pack for Rangers? How well does the rate work under an Explorer? About how much "lift" do these give on an X compared to a stock 4 leaf pack?
