WHEW!!!! got the shocks off....i ended up getting a torch from my high school (actually my dad got it for me, hes the athletic director there...) and just cut the *******s off. next step, radius arm extension brackets!!!

im somewhat new to this site. i cant make it to attica saturday but would like to go sunday. is it worth going sunday? i have a coworker who wants to go also, we may carpool in his ranger. his ranger is stock, are there any trails we can run stock? thanks

Grnmachine, is your buddies Ranger a 4x4? reg cab or ext? A stock extended cab 4x4 ranger will have a hard time getting around with the long wheelbase. Mine is an extended cab but it's lifted 5 inches and runs 33's and I made a set of nerfbars cause I was dragging my rockers more than I cared to. If it's a regular cab he will probably be ok, the wheelbase is the same as an exploder.

All I know is that people shouldn't be backing out...Work, I understand that OT does come up...I've worked a warehouse for 2 1/2 years, it's always worked for me that ya say, i'm gone this weekend so should anything come up, I can't work...I'm sorry if I'm being over critical...Andre, sucks about the car and that is one of those sudden things...But this whole thing of people backing out is pissing my off.. This better not keep dwindling or i'll get more upset...The bigger the better!

Riff, are you sure you'll be ready for Friday???? Maybe we all should meet at your place Friday evening, finish your rig and then field-test it Saturday??? I know how bad you want it all to work for this run but don't over-do-it. It took me good two weeks to finish everything that was associated with my 3" body lift. I can't imagine how long it would take me to put a suspension lift on. I'm very detail oriented. It all has to work for me to be fully satisfied. My front bumper is a bit on an angle on one side and that pisses me off. Can't wait to unload my wrenches and start taking everything off just to bring it back to where it's suppose to be. Take your time buddy but I'd really hate to see you riding shotgun with someone else.......[curse] don't even say that, knock on wood, hell my desk is not wood!!!; what!!!???? I got to go find a piece to knock on, be back later.

everything is going great, except for the rivits that relocate the right axle pivot point on the left hand side. i have both the radius arm brackets mounted, and the left axle pivot point mounted.

if my dad can get those rivits off tonight when i am at work, then it will be finished tomorrow. if it is finished tomorrow, i have an appointment on thursday at the fabricators to make me some lower shock mounts for the rear axle. he already has the design (from a race car) and he said if i bring it in in the morning, then it will be done that day.

so i really hope my dad helps me with those rivits!!! if he doesn't, im not really sure where that puts me. I'll let you know!!

I've never seen a 19 page thread... Riff, if you need help on Friday evening finishing up, let me know. I'll cruise up there and do what I can to help. (even if it is to just stand there and look pretty, and give directions, or tell you what you should have done...etc.)

I've had a lousy week, so you know that I am looking forward to Saturday. Hell, I may even stay to Sunday this time.

Pete and Matt, you guys got to slow down when you're reading, it wasn't that hard to follow along. In case you still don't have it. YES I WILL BE THERE, unless some kind of cosmic crap happens or something. ?

Riff,you know that might have been done by now if ......

Pete, you gotta ease up a little bit, the guys that have backed out had reasons and its not our place to decide if they were good enough or not. I'll tell you right now if something came up and I was needed I would have to pass also. Hopefully that won't happen. The guys I wheel with would understand. Besides, if you start working on a good old fashioned "pissed off" this early in the week it will ruin your whole weekend and that would be a shame.

The last time we only had five trucks and we had a great time, I expect those of us that make it will have an equally good time this time as well.

Riff, it's possible that your truck just possibly might have been ....................

Greenmachine, your buddy is welcome as are you, but he might have a tough time even on the green trail with a stock ext cab ranger. I would suggest bringing yours and trying it out. The short wheelbase helps, it's mildly lifted and you have larger tires so it would definately be more capable than the ranger but the choice is yours.

If you have a cb we will be on ch25 and should be able to hear you from anywhere in the park if you holler. If not we need to figure out a place to meet.
