My ball and chain will stay home to protect our nest but my son is coming with. For the first time I'm taking my baby on an off road trip. I hope he'll like it. Just because of that I might have to tone it down a bit and forget about running Orange this time again.

I really hate to say it but I have to, Pete, Anne probably knows more about vehicles and the maintenance of them than you do. 20+ years around me wrenching for a living, alot rubbed off on her.

Todd, my son is only 7 but already deep into whatever interests his daddy. Mud, dirt? yeah daddy, I'm going! that was his response. What else can I add?
Riff! looking good.... well, at least better.
I hope to finish work on my garage soon so I can start on my rig. All I did was opened boxes with the lift so far. I will sound kind of like Scott but don't worry guys, I'll be ready!

PS. take a look at the latest issue of 4 Wheel & Off-Road magazine. Article about Zooki melt in Attica is neat. Wondering if we can call these guys and invite them for our run. Do you think they would come? Naaaaaa, it's probably got to be minimum of 50 rigs or something minimum.

Andre, Riff wheeled Sat. with a couple zukes. Well kinda,one broke a T-case mount the first 30 minutes out,and the other, well lets just say he needs more practice.(reads me). Riff took on all and killed the trail. He even pulled out 2 j**ps at the same time. No joke. He showed me the hill I think you "launched" from. Liked to have seen that. He may want to show you a couple other hills that were over looked the last time out. I'm sure he will be looking for a locker very soon.....and leather cleaner...air freshiner.

It was Cameron that lunched on that hill. Anyway, the last time I was at Attica that hill didn't look as bad as before. You get used to this stuff. A lot of Badlands things didn't look as bad as before.
Scott, I hope you are still holding back on extreme stuff. I might have to put my fire extinguisher to use next time we meet to cool you off a bit.

After a couple times its just like gettin groceries. Then you start lookin for another store, telico, uwharrie, moab, and where ever. If those places stay open. Until then I guess the local Krogers will haved to do for me.

I'm planning on being there if I don't blow my rig on the 11th down there. I hope to do the orange again for memories sake before the 18th. With some meats,rear locker, extended radius arms, Riff should be set for awhile. Ay Riff?

Why Scott has been off the boards you ask??? He came to Chicago today to pick up the wheels he got from me. We put them on his rig and MAN!!! that thing looks awsome! You got to be there in Attica in two weeks to see it. He got this set of Rover Mud 35's I was selling. After we put them on we spent some time just talking about his latest escapade to Attica and some other BS. So now I'm done working on my garage, truck is in and I can start putting my lift on. Just bought a winch but looks like I could get it cheaper. I got Ramsey Pro Plus 8000 brand new for $660.00 plus shipping. Is it fair? Scott, thanks for pointing out to me that advertisement in Petersen's. I can get Platinum 9000 for $699.00. I'll think about it.
Anyway, had fun today and I'm looking to some fun in two weeks.
Todd, Scott almost, just almost convinced my wife that she should go. All I need now is to get my mom to watch the kids for two days.

Check this out guys and reserve it today! I was not able to get a room in Ramada. Everything in Lafayette area is booked except one place. It's called Budget Inn of America and going price per night is not bad @ $49.00 plus tax. I booked one room. Looks like my wife is going but we could always squeeze someone in with us.
I booked my room on http://www.expedia.com. The best since I've checked some other places and all offered this same room at $69.00 per night.
Check it out, keep me posted.
