"Audio Off" Message

I just bought a 2013 Ford Edge . Audio was fine in test drive . Now it is stuck on Audio Off. I read this . Went to settings and couldn't find master reset but found restore system defaults . Did that and it didn't help . Very frustrated ! New (to me) car and no audio ! Please help . I hope I'm not fixing to be out more money

I have to ask the obvious, did you try turning the radio on?

Yes. Nothing happens when I try to turn the radio on. It worked yesterday to do the restore to factory default. When I got in my car this morning... again... audio off and nothing happens when I push the power button for the radio etc.... did the reset and shut the car off turned it back on and it came on... What would fix this permanently?

I bought a 2013 Ford Edge. The audio was fine. Now it is stuck on Audio Off. I did all that Kboy222 did but didn't help. Very frustrated.

If you tried a Master Reset without success, you could try disconnecting the negative battery cable for a few minutes before reconnecting. Keep in mind that you could lose some saved memory settings.
Since this seems to affect the Edge, have you tried posting in a Ford Edge forum to see if there are others with the same issue?

Peter
