Auto 4 wheel drive(need help)

Just bought a 93XLT from my girlfriends father. I went to take it in the woods last week and I pressed the 4X4 button on the dash and nothing happened. I tdidnt even light up. I thought it might be a fuse or the switch, but,I found out that the thing in the back panel clicks and lights up. The light goes out in a couple seconds. Its like the motor or transfer case aren't getting any power. All the fuses are fine. Have any of you ever seen this???

pull the motor off and clean the contacts. Should work perfect after that. Very easy fix. All you need is an 8 and 10mm socket and a wire cutter for the one brown wire. Any questions, just e-mail me.
