Yesterday I serviced my Auto Trans. Pulled the pan and replaced the filter.......................

When I was done, I noticed two small o-rings in the replacement filter box. "ARGHHHHHHHHHHHH", but the vehicle drove fine.

This AM, the tran slips. Is the bad seal between the filter enough to cause this issue?

Yes

You are sucking air into the system which lowers pressure. This can cause slipping. Others have also experienced this problem when updated filters are used that requires a shorter filter mounting screws and the filter drops down after a hundred miles.

When you use the correct parts, things turn out better.

I have now replaced the filter and fluid in my automatic transmission twice. But the good part is that it is working perfectly.

Thanks for your help.
