2003 Aviator, when you shut the car off, after driving, only the driver side door will unlock. The other 3 doors plus the tailgate will not unlock. Is there a way to program, so all doors will unlock, short of going to the dealer.

thanks

Tom

Not sure if you can program it or not. Just checked my '05, and only the drivers side unlocks when turning off engine.

You may check with a Peformance shop to see if a tune will do this, but you'll be looking at $300-$600.

Well if it's that much, I'll be getting used to the unlock button.

I have had performance tunes before on my Roadmaster and Caprices, it's usually around $140.

Might all depend on the tune.

Try working your way through the Message Center. If I recall that is where I saw the auto-lock. There may be a setting for auto unlock there. Not sure if one of the settings would be for Drivers door or All doors.

Just a thought.

Thanks gt, that's a good thought. I have previously checked that, and I believe it's just an on / off, but I will look again tomorrow.

thanks

Tom
