okay well in a round about way you answered my question which I bought up myself after smoking crack early this am
You both have OBD-II trucks. You have both adjusted your TPS to get close to .096
so yes the .096 applies to OBD-ii trucks.
I shall adjust the TPS on both my 5.0ls this weekend because I was under the impression (and influence of crack) that it was for OBD-I computers only (I did it on my old 4.0L)
