I got some new off roading lights to day and put them on, i got them bolted to the bumper and all wired up...and i try them...they dont work, any suggestions on things to check....i dont know if i did a good enough ground job cuz all i did was shove it tightly between 2 peices of metal on the chassis....post your ideas please.

My guess... GROUND.
I'd always go back to the battery ground.

bare metal? or painted metal? paint wont conduct electricity very well if at all....

Not really much we can do for you, except tell you to triple check your wiring.

First suggestion is to follow the directions that came with the lights.
Once you have done as instructed, if it doesnt work, let us know.
Good luck.

Might I suggest a screw, or existing bolt for the ground. Wiring isn't something to mess with, you'll end up with a BBQ Explorer. And I don't mean on its roof ;)
