So I'm ordering a WAAG Brush Guard in the next week I'm looking at auxiliary lighting and there are so many different brands and choices to choose from, anyone have any suggestions or prefer one brand/light over the other?

The two brands I'm looking at right now are PIAA and Hella, but I'm lost as to what lights to choose.

Can anyone help me out :)

Since this isn't offroad fabrication related I moved it to Performance Lighting.

Do you want Fog lights or Driving lights?
Fogs= on w/low beams & fill in dark areas not light by low beams.
Driving= on w/high beams & extend range of high beams beams also fill in dark areas of the high beams.

Piaa's are great if you can pony up the $$$.. I have been running Hella 500's for several years and they've been great.

I'm gonna put These On my brush guard (once I get it on) and I'm going to use These In my stock Fog light spots and mask any extra space off to the side. They both have a Blue LED halo around them and the smaller ones Strobe. But, I'm into the Flashy look right now. They aren't that expensive. But they get the job done. I don't see any point to really expensive lights intill I can park my truck in a Locked Garage. Good luck either way. And don't forget to post up pics when your done.

Hellas, IMO, are the best bang for the buck. You can get a pair of Hella 500s for under $70 in most cases. I had a pair on my safari bar until some ass hit me in a parking lot and smashed them. They were fantastic, and I plan on replacing the lights on my roof with them in the near future. Right now on my safari bar I have a pair of Pro Comp Explorers, which are 130 watts and twice as bright as the Hellas (not to mention, stainless steel.) Those cost me $90 for the pair, I like them a lot too- but yeah, Hellas are great if you are looking for something not too pricey with great light output.

Yeah, but the way I did it he could see were to get them and how much they were. Just in case he wanted to get them. :D I will remember that trick for next time though.

150 watt KC Daylighters from www.desertrat.com have been the best bang for the buck I've ever found. I've got them on both trucks. If my wife would let me, they've be on her Civic too!!

Pics are in my gallery linked in my sig...

KC may well be the best bank for the buck.
Daylighters are a deeper light so you need more room for mounting them then the slimlights. Now daylighters & slimlights come in fog, & driving & long range(pencil beam).
