Well I installed my auxillary reverse lights yesterday. You can see pics at:

Here is how I did it:
I wired a 12v switch to the center console and directly to the lights with an inline fuse. That is how I can switch them on and off manually. Then I decided wouldn't it be great if they came on with my reverse lights? But I am **** and I did not just want to splice my reverse lights wire, because I don't want the reverse lights coming on with the switch (not that it matters). So, I went to Radio Shack and bought a 12v 30 amp relay! I took this relay and spliced it into the reverse lights on one side and into the auxillary lights on the other now when I put it in reverse the relay switches on and turns on my rear lights without the switch. And since I used a relay it is a totally separate circuit than my reverse lights so they don't come on via the switch!
