AWD to 4WD.

I have a 2000 Ford explorer V6 AWD and I want to turn it into a 4wd and was wondering if anyone could give me a list of parts and I kno i could always go out a buy a 4wd but i kno my explorer is well maintaind

To the best of my knowledge, Ford did not produce any 6 cylinder AWD explorers in the 2000 model year. You either have the "auto 4wd" (which will have the selector on the radio bezel) or a 2 wheel drive vehicle.

Ya i have a selector on the radio bezel for 4wd high and low

So, given that, you already have a 4WD truck. No need for parts.
Unless your intent was to change the 4WD setup to a manual shifting transfercase??
If so, do a search for BW1354 mod, or converting to a BW1354.
Theres a few on this forum that have performed this mod on their trucks.
