What is the part number or type of axle bearings needed for the 99 Mountaineer, RWD, 5.0?

I noticed a squeeking today from the rear right tire. It sounds like a bearing and I can't see any other problems.

My local parts store is showing two different bearings, one looks like a two piece and the other which is more expensive a one piece. The parts store also asked for the tube diameter and I have no clue. I didn't realize this vehicle would have different tube diameters or either he just wanted to verify the size of the bearing was correct.

If someone can point me to the correct bearings I would appreciate it. I've replaced bearings on an 8.8 before on a 91 Mustang so I am assuming this vehicle is not much different except for the disc brakes.

And that squeak might just be the brakes. Did you check that first?

Of course. The brakes are new. Everything was cleaned up with brake cleaner before reinstalling. I am certain it is the axle bearing. I've had one go bad before so I'm familiar with the sound. Furthermore, my pinion seal is leaking which increases the chances of the axle bearings not getting enough lube. I've already looked into a rebuild kit for the differential, but trying to find the right axle bearings as well. I'm looking to do it all and do it right the first time.

I completely rebuilt the differential on my Mustang and its still running good today, despite the hard launches. I just want to make sure I am getting the right parts now. Its very irritating to start a job and find out later you got the wrong part. ;)

I wasn't trying to be factious, but a lot of people get on here and ask questions without checking the obvious. Good luck with your repair.
