Been looking at doing this for a couple reasons. One to get some more air flow and two to give a little more room in the front there while working on the front of the motor. They pulley mounted fan shaft gets in the way.

So I was looking at the following options.
Haven't done any measuring but I think I will have enough room.

Thinking of using the fan from a Lincoln Mark VIII because their fans are rated at 3800 cfm at 12 volts and 4800 at 14 volts.
Then connecting it to the following fan controller.

I had to go with dual electric fans when I did the Kenne Bell on my Explorer. My reason for installing was for power and also clearance purposes.

Electric fans can be great when done right. Only use progressive controllers, those high flow fans can suck 50+ amps if you stick them on a "full on" circuit. I'll be trying to cram a Mark VIII fan into my Mountaineer soon. Regards,

I have been running a flex-a-light 180 for a couple years now. Not a single problem yet.
