I headed out Friday to a friends house who lives closer to hit the trail saturday morning. No problems Friday. Go to bed abou 1:00 get up at 4:30 to drive up to the trail head. We fall in line at the first main obsicale (the gate keeper keeps lesser rigs out) behind 2 heeps. first one tries to go threw ends up pushing his nerf bars (chrome ones by the way) into the body and then rips a fuel line then puts the fan through the radiator. So he winches off to the side his budy pulls over to let us go bye so they can figure out what to do. Jim the guy I was with cj 7 lockers sproing over etc pretty much walks right through it hits his skid plate and rocker bars but keeps going. Pulls up and hops out to watch me. I bounce around rearange my driverside rocker panel and back corner of the bed but continue through. Jim hopes in his jeep to keep going and his clutch wont disinge at all. So we are able to pull up to a clearing to let everyone go by to see whats up We check to see if anything is bent or broken on the lickage don't see anything. so we try readjusting the clutch. The only way for it to disingage was to have the pedal completly against the throughout bearing so it will always spin. So we pack it off one last time and starts to work. Sweet ready to keep going down the trail. so we start heading out. Hit the granite slabs maybe 1/4 mile into the trail and his clutch quits working. So after we screw with it some moe we decide to turn around and head bak out. We checked out a few rigs that were out there and lunch then came back out the same way. So we hit the gate keeper again. This time i go first through it. Take out all of the passanger side this time. (have to make them match) I also managed to blow a seal in my front axle for the 7th time( had spare but last obsticle but still need to fix. so we load his Jeep back on his trailer and deside to see how the friends of the rubcon (FOTR)work crew is going. We get over there few hours before dinner sat night and Jim decides to take off and head home. I stay up there and help serve dinner. Dinner was corn, green beans and mushrooms, rolls, salid and 2 steaks all for free thatsk to CA association of 4 wheel drive clubs. There were about 100 or so people at the work party repairing the road to control water run off. Over all still enjoyed getting out even if I didn't get to run the whole trail should have a few pics later this week hopefully

Matt
