Has any one Ever used Muscle Motors Or Granatelli Motor Sports to order parts? I ordered a 75mm mass air flow sensor with cold air tuning. I finally got it 2 months later I installed it and it wouldn't work. My check engine light came on and it slowed my 1/4 mile time 2 seconds. I called in and I heard everything from it was my car or I would just have to buy another one, to every one blaming everyone else, and being rude to me. Finally, 2 weeks later, I took it to Ford and paid them $80.00 to tell me it was the wrong part. I needed a 6 pin and I was only sent a 4 pin. Also, I ordered it with cold air induction and I was sent a stock one so I called back in and was told to send it in for warranty. I had to pay the shipping. I sent it priority, I got the conformation that they recieved it. so I called again. I was told they finally ordered it 2 weeks later and that they should get it in around 7 to 10 days later and then mail it off to me and it will take another 7 to 10 days. And now I'm going on 1 month. I also ordered a K&N FIPK intake system and was told it would take 4 or 5 days. 7 days later I called and was told it had never been ordered. And that it was back ordered from K&N for 3 months but no one bothered contacted me. When I said I would never use them again I was told that they didn't care. :fire:

Give us the Link to the web site. Those of us who are interested in letting these people know that "word of mouth" extends to internet too. We can all send an email to let them know we will not buy from them because we have been warned about thier service!
Let the Buyer Beware, and the Seller too - if he knows whats good for him!
 






I finally talked to JR Granatelli and of course he blamed muscle motors. And said he would fix it and send it back to me but he wouldn't guarantee. it would work because they don't work on Explorers. And so far nothing. And it's been 2 weeks since I talked to him. And I found out Pro-m and Granatelli are one. The pathetic thing is they are blaming each other also. and they are the same company.:confused:

people on this site should email them to say they also wont order. maybe then they will care

Thank you for informing us about this.

Just to set the record straight. We are a reseller of a product that was ordered from this gentleman, Mr. Apple. We can not help that the company Pro-M/Granatelli Motorsports produces a defective product and took such a long time in even getting the item for him. When we finally received it we sent it Next Day Air to Mr. Apple. Which is the least we could do for him after waiting so long.

Obviously as you can tell it did not work. The box had written on it his application 99 Explorer 4.0 Cold Air Kit and then the paperwork inside was completely different according to him. This we had nothing to do with as the part comes prepackaged and all we do is stick a label on it and ship it out. We tried to trouble shoot the item of why it did not work on his application. The reason was that Pro-M had put a 4 clip sensor on it instead of a 6 clip sensor on it. Apparently in 1999 Explorer's were produced with both sensor types.

We have tried to help the customer out however we were instructed by Granatelli Motorsports that it is under warranty and we are out of the loop now. In fact he sent the defective part back to Granatelli Motorsports directly.

As a statement of fact also due to Mr. Apple's and our customer problems we have had with Pro-M (www.pro-flow.com) Mass Air Flow Sensors we have discontinued selling their product line. We are now prominently selling C&L Performance (www.cnlperformance.com) Mass Air Flow Sensors.

Dont ever buy from autobahn or zmotives.com they are really rude and they charge a 30 percent restocking fee and shipping is never refunded and the sales people are just rude and there knowledge is poor on certain products. They tried telling me that there was no billet grill available for my 94 X. They said the only grill you could get was one where you use your stock shell and cut the middle out and he said this is the only one that anyone makes. B/S I have a billet grill that I bought that replaced my old grill completly. No cutting at all. And they take forever to refund your money minus the 30 percent and minus shipping. I had to email and call the company 6 times before something was done. Beware of autobahnwholesale.com or zmotive.com same company bad place to deal with and very rude people.:fire: :mad: :fire: :frustrate :hammer: :banghead: :thumbdwn:

Well.. put it this way. If anyone orders from Muscle Motors, it's Muscle Motors' problem to follow up with any troubles the buyers are having.

If a product is defective and Muscle Motors wants to blame it on Mr. Orange, we do not need to know about it. It's their own issue to take care of that!!! Period!

Muscle Motors has to take of OUR problems with them, not pointing fingers at somebody else. Why?! Because we ordered from Muscle Motors, not Mr. Orange or Apple!
