alright, the first week of february i ordered something from a company that markets explorer parts (i won't say which one yet 'cause i don't want to risk pissing them off, which would probably ensure i never see the product or a refund - you'll understand in a minute) they told me the product was in stock and should arrive iin two to three weeks. one month later i hadn't received anything so i called and asked what was up. they told me that they could do nothing because it takes longer than that before they could track lost packages. so i called back the next week, and the next and the next etc. then finally they came up with the idea that the product was somehow lost in Denver (or some other city neither where they shipped it from or where i was) they told me that the packing label had somehow fallen off the package and there would be some paperwork necessary in getting them back. i've called every few weeks or asked about the product via email and the answer has still been that they haven't heard from the post office. its now been four months in total and i haven't seen a product so i asked for a refund, and they told me that they couldn't do anything until they heard from the post office

so the question is what do you guys think? is there any validity to what they're saying? i'm hoping that this thread will result in a lot of people saying that this is BS and they should really refund my money, and immediately at that. then i will email they owner of the shop and tell him to check out the thread and hope he does the right thing. otherwise i will post the name of his company and the product here and everywhere else i can think of in an attempt to screw him out of more than the 105 dollars they screwed me out of.

Duuude. Don't take that $h!t from anyone. I wouldn't even have tolerated 3 weeks for shipping. Let alone four months. There is no excuse for this and its the fault of a poorly-ran business and no one else.

NO CRAP I KNOW THIS IS BS, JUST I'VE TRIED EVERYTHING SHORT OF GOING TO THE SHOP MYSELF (ITS A GOOD 2,000 MILES AWAY). SO I'M HOPING THREATENING HIS BUSINESS WILL HELP MAYBE. THANKS FOR AGREEING WITH ME!:hammer: :hammer: :hammer: :shoot: :shoot: :shoot: :fire: :fire: :shoot: :fire: :exporange :exporange :fire: :banghead: :banghead:

Did you already pay your credit card?
Whatever your answer may be, call your credit card company and talk to them about what you can do about getting your money back...!!!

If they're near CA... just let me know.... I can help you out. ;) :D

I used paypal. does that mean i need to call paypal? also i've had some money refunded in the paypal system before and i don't know how to get it back on my card. it just seemed to sit in the paypal system in my account..!?

anyone from the south?...?

If you used a credit card through Paypal then definately call your credit card company and explain it to them. Four months is way too long to wait for a resolution. Your credit card company will immediately issue a credit on your card and then send a letter to the shop in question. Depending on the answer they receive back, will determine if the credit stands. Merely saying they can't do anything until they hear from the Post Office won't cut it and neither will it got lost in the mail. You paid them money to deliver a product, they haven't done that. Whenever I dispute a charge, it is always immediately credited back to my card. Sometimes the company I filed the dispute against provides an accptable answer resulting in the charge getting reposted, but sometimes they don't.

Dude even if you asked someone from Khazakastan, they would tell you you're getting screwed.

Terrible customer service!

i was looking for someone from the south so they could go to the shop with a bat. not so that they could give a second opinion. lol

I agerr with everyone else, contact your credit card company, explain the situation and let them take care of the A hole. He may be able to think he can get away with screwing you out of your money, but get a major credit card company involved and he'll more than likely jump at the chance to refund you your money, or risk being charged with felony fraud.
