"bad disc" display

i was doing some minor offroading earlier today with my cd player trying to play (lots of skipping) (stock 6-disc cd changer with stock headunit) and i went home after adn now when i try to play the cd player, the changer just goes to every cd- reads it- then says bad disc- then goes to the next and it says this for every cd. i put in different cds that are fine and werent in the changer when i was offroading and they dont work either.... what have i done? is there a way to fix it?>

The stock changer really doesn't like being told to play when offroading. Hope you didn't scratch your CD's. I'm guessing something internal if fubared. Sorry. Try it tomorrow though, it may work after a 'night off'.

alright, ill try i tlater today. right now im kinda sick. ooh and i think it said "bad cd" not bad disc

you were right alec... it works now! thats the last tiem i go offroading when the cd player playing.
