Hi Guys and Girls,
New to the forums, I have a 2000 Explorer North Face LPG
I have had it for three years and have had trouble free motoring, both driving and towing a large caravan.
Just before new year, It developed a misfire from hell. on petrol, although on LPG it runs as normal, very smooth.
I have checked and changed spark plugs, leads and no difference.
Today, after a AA rescue last week, I have taken the injectors out and got them cleaned, No Difference.
I am stumped !
I am just wondering if anyone can help, or if anyone recognises the symptoms ?
Happy new year to you all.
Hope to hear from you

Martin

petrol related

If it runs fine on LPG then you can eliminate ignition and compression and assume the source is petrol related. Does the PCM generate any diagnostic trouble codes? Is the petrol in the tank old? Have you checked the fuel pressure?
