2001 4l starts and runs fine on petrol[gasoline] but if she has been on LPG I have to wind the starter a lot, even though it starts and warms up on petrol. I have checked the fuel pressure at around 45-50psi plugs are due for replacement but do look fine. I have had the lpg guy over with his laptop to recalibrate the lpg ECU but no better, any clues?

I don't know much about the LPG systems, but I do know that the injection system needs to be adjusted very precisely to ensure proper injection timing (sounds like you took care of that).

As long as the injection system is working properly, I'd suspect the plugs or coil packs myself - IIRC LPG requires a hotter spark than regular gas does.
