Bad Noise Problem

The front drivers side of my explorer is making a really bad noise. It happens when I turn or go over a bump. It sounds like metal rubbing against metal. It comes from the tire area. Does anyone have any ideas about what it could be? It sounds bad! HELP!

It sounds like it could be the anti-sway bar links may be rattling around. Have you gone to the dealership to get the recall upgrade? It could also be the anti-rattle clips on the brake pads if one broke off (possibly going through water crossings at high speeds)
