Hey all-
I'm new here so I'll kill two birds and say hi. I have a '99 stock explorer and about two months I took it into the shop to have some work done, and they told me that I should replace my ball joints because they are worn. I have driven a substantial distance on them without any problems. There are no noises, rattling, or squeaking coming from the suspension. The car doesn't even have that many miles on it (about 84000). I'm going to be drive a lot in a few weekends (about 12 hours over three days). Do you think there is a big risk by taking the car? Will anything bad happen because of the heavy driving? I just don't want to be five hours away form home and have the suspension fall off the car. Hope i gave enough info, but ask me anything else.
Thanks
