Ball Joint Replacement (I have pictures but can't post)

Look at the top of the boot at the bare metal on the ball joint. That should not be there. The boot should be darn near flush against the lower control arm.

Look at the pics in post #13. That is how it should look.

Gotcha. I figured it was just a different design. For the record I installed my Moogs this week and they look very similar to post #13.

I figured out the problem. The Duralast BJ was installed properly and it was not crooked. The issue is that the Duralast ball joints are a piece of sh*t. I went a purchased the Moog ball Joint and check out the difference in the boot. I brought back the old BJ to Auto Zone and made sure that the BJ they gave me was the correct one and it was. I will def never buy Duralast again. Check out the pic. Thanks everyone for your help. I went ahead and replaced my bearings as well.

You'll be much better off with the Moog part in the long run. That duralast bj does not even seal the boot to the lower part of the steering knuckle to hold in the grease!
