- 2002 explorer
Good morning to all,
This is my first post but i have used the board for quite some time and found it to be very helpful. I have a 2002 explorer and my battery keeps going dead. The things I'v done so far is replaced the battery and check my alternator. My alternator is putting 14+ volts when I put a meter across it when the car is running. I'v disconnected the neg cab and installed a troublesooting light in series and it lights up so I know I have a draw. At this point I pulled every fuse I could fine one at a time and the light never went out. I also disconnected the alternator and it made no difference. I can't imagine the sercuity system running the battery down. Can anyone out there help me on this. I'd take it to the dealer but I don't think they could do anything more than what I'm doing!
