Paypal are dealing... however, should the investigation go in his favour, I will, phone his local sheriff and have him charged with fraud and obtaining money by deception. or grand larceny whatever it's called.. so, either way, I will win.

For such a vocal person to stay quiet for 6 whole days, I am shocked.. I would've thought that he would've at least tried to defend himself, but no.....

Nothing, no emails, no PMs, not a word.

Paypal are still dealing with this matter, However, while they are doing so, my account sits in negative balance, and I am unable to use it... As a result, I'm unable to continue with other projects and have incurred costs for having to shop at other places....

So, what started out as me doing someone a favour and being nice has ended up with me losing out big time...

Has made me re-think about dealing with forum members, from now on I'll only deal with elite members who have been here more than 2 minutes...

Sounds like you have enough proof to prove fraud on him. Sucks they have to put you through so much to get it figured out.
 






Blueka, I think a theft/fraud of $250 or more anywhere here in the states is a Felony, not just a misdemeanor. Also the fact it was over state lines... Fines and possibly (but not likely) jail time will ensue, as will insurance companies get involved to get you your money back if you decide to press legal charges. Not sure how much the final bill of sale was, but you could use a "declared value" I think.

Regardless, sorry to hear about this and I wish you good luck on getting your money back :thumbsup:
 






If any part of the transaction was sent by the USPS, whether it be the radio in question, money, etc. and is infact fraud, it is a federal offense.
 






nope, it was all Canada post... but, I'm going to call the Sheriff's office... see what they say... it's also amazing what you find out about people and where they live off google too....

I've bought from blueka before, and in my opinion he's a class act. I can't believe this guy hasn't manned up yet. It's obvious by his silence and non action that this person is less than a stand up guy. I know we're not supposed to do this, but this guy is a low life.

i wish i could find, or knew what thread went around the net a few years back with the kid that ripped off some respected guy on another forum over a set of used gears. they showed him what can and will happen if you lie about people on things like this, and what kind of information can and will be displayed about you.

Blue- As mentioned, keep in PHONE CALL touch with PayPal. It took me over a month to get my money back when something simaler happened to me just recently. They would close the case in HIS favor, id have to call and talk to supervisors and whatnot to get it opened back up, and so on and so fourth. They didnt reach the initial verdict until 31 days after he appealed my decision of not refunding him more than half the money.

After MANY phone calls, trips to the sheriffs station, and notary, they finally settled in my favor. Sadly, I dont think they look at the links/picture evidence, as I should have never lost the case in the first place. (Sold a REMOTE START, and guy said it was broke and missing ALARM components! I sent numerious links/picture copies of all PM's, and the ad to PayPal to prove I NEVER said it was an alarm system.)

I really hope this dillhole gets in some serious trouble. People like this ruin the buying/selling online!:thumbdwn:

Yeah, sell to only elite members (or high post count.. =P) I'll be elite again one day... $$$ lol
