I have to thank you for linking us to that. I've been at work for 2 hours reading it and I'm only halfway through. I cannot believe the stupidity of some people.

I started reading it before work yesterday and was almost late, and then read the rest of it last night. Read his second thread in there too. Couldn't walk away until I found out the end result. LOL, all 73 pages.

Well, I have the guy's address, his phone number, I also know what his house is worth and I know a few other things about him. I'm keeping them under my hat right now just incase he decides to carry on being a ******.

It would be really nice if he would just say, I was wrong, I'm cancelling my credit card company's actions and I'll get them to re-instate your money.

But I know he's not man enough for that.

So, I'm going to phone the sheriff's office today and get charges filed.

Lol, well, the sheriff said she would email me, so I can send her a link to this thread, and forward all the emails between him and I, plus all the images that I have saved.

She said that from what I told her that it could be classed as theft or fraud, but either way, if I want to press charges, then I should be able to.

I'm still waiting on a response from paypal and a response from Scott Thompson would be nice too, but I won't hold my breath for a response from him.
All he has to do is contact his credit card company and get them to stop their actions and all this can be put behind us.

Sadly, I don't think this guy is able to man up. If he was, this situation would have fizzled away long ago.

Keep hammering away at Paypal. Squeaky wheel gets the grease of course.

Well, Paypal emailed me to say that the reversal has been completed, but they are going to dispute this.
I have not heard from Scott at all during this, either to admit he was wrong and apologise or to cancel to the actions or to give me back my money.

Oh, and I got charged an extra $20 for paypal refunding that assholes credit card.

So, now I'm out $226 and all of my stereo.

I will be pressing charges for fraud and theft as of today. I will also be informing all of the other forums that he uses that he is a fraud and a thief and I will also be writing to all of his neighbours to inform them of the same.

As I understand it, to do a credit card reversal the original seller gets a letter, and, a chance to state his claim. Did they?????
