I have a 4x4 93 explorer and i was wondering if i would be able to install 2wd drop beams for a ranger on my car. I am looking to completly remove my 4wd parts. I am extremly interested in doing this so will someone lmk please. Or should i kinda just stop dumping money into this old of an explorer?

it can be done and there are those who have done it but like you mentioned i don't think it's wise to put that kind of time, effort and money into your old school X which has little to no value at this point. i would save up and put that money down on something new if i were you. just my opinion.

I agree with the guru, however the crossmember/ engine cradle is differant between the 2wd and 4wd, they wont bolt up if they do they'll be way out of wackI bagged a '90 b2 a while back I used the origional beams and cut and lowered them myself, the pics I think are still on cardomain.com, search for bronclow2
