92 Ranger and 05 Chevy
Hey guys. Some may recognize the screen name from some of the Ranger forums. I'm James (you may call me Jimmeh ;D) and live in the Beautiful Flathead Valley in Montana state. I own a 92 Ford Ranger and also a 2005 Chevy Silverado, which is currently my money pit/daily driver/toy and a soon to be passed down to me 92 Subaru Legacy sedan.

Just recently, I decided that after 5 years of owning the Ranger (only 2 of which it was driven regularly) that it may be time to sell it and get myself an Explorer. I haven't driven it for about a year now, and before that it sat for almost 3, and realize that now I don't have a need for two pickups, let alone two vehicles, but I love to go play on the trails, and want a rig I can go and do that with. Since the Chevy is still not paid off, and you can't really wheel a Subaru (without modding the crap out of it), I figured an explorer is the way to go.

I found a low mileage 2nd gen (probably a 99 or 2000, haven't figured that part out yet) locally that has been sitting for at LEAST 4 years, maybe more. 5 of the 8 windows are busted out, the tires are low on air, and as I said, it has been sitting for a long time, so I am trying to get a deal on it (because it may not even run without some over hauling). It has roughly 56,000 miles on it though, so I am wondering what some may think it's worth. I will get some pictures of it soon, and probably post a separate thread about it. Until then, here are some pictures of my two trucks:

The Ranger, obviously:

No pictures of the Suby since, well, it's not worth the time to take a picture of it, lol. It has about 300,000 miles and will be the commuter car. I should be taking possession of it this week, as it was my moms car that my sister was driving, and since mom is getting a new Outback on Monday, she will be passing her current Outback on to my sister, and I will be taking over the old one, lol. Hey, can't complain about a free car!

Anyway, sorry for the long drawn out introduction. It may be a while before I post back up. For now, I will be lurking finding stuff to be done on Explorers (though I imagine a lot of things will be the same as the good old Rangers) for me to spend money on.
