Bought a 92 sport a couple months ago to fix-up but found out the title was signed in the wrong place. The guy is no where to be found. Not at the place on his liences or the title. So decided to get a running one and make that one a trail only rig.

Welcome Purple Haze to the clan
1993 Sport fully loaded....... 5 speed! The undercarrage is clean. The floor pan is clean, the spot welds have a little (VERY LITTLE) surface rust on them. The trailing arms are a little rusty (that tells me no oil leaks). Replaced in the last 3 years.... Steering gearbox, starter, tcase shift motor (new ford unit), and A/C charged with R-134a.

Never know for sure if this is correct but it looks clean so I think it is.

Welcome! Nice lookin truck you got there. Still looks nice and purty!

I love the sports, but I love those BII's even more :)
Nice truck

The "cranberry" Sport (that was the official Ford colour) is almost identical to the first Sport I owned, factory ordered in '93. Pretty much spec'd like yours, including the interior and tranny. I would have driven it for years to come, but sold it to a buddy because I moved away for 3.5 years and it was a shame not to have it driven. First thing I did when I moved home was score a '97 Sport.

Welcome to the site. Definitely the best Explorer resource on the web.

Welcome to the board FZ, that sure is a sweet looking sport there.

Looks like you got your foot in deep wit the Ford thing, keep up the great work!

Hey Ed, your RRORC decal looks great on your rig, I wonder how mine will look on my midnight blue Sport, but first I need to get glue from an old decal and emissions sticker off the windshield first.

Welcome to Serious Explorations!
