Beeping Sound Need Help!

I have a 01 Mountaineer when i start up it beeps five times like door or key is in ignition after 30 min again beeps starts its driving me crazy need help what could be wrong? Any one had this happen to ?

The first time it beeps, at startup, is proper. The second time, 30 min later is not. I would think maybe a seat belt sensor not working properly, but I would think it would beep again within 5 min of starting to drive. Definately strange.

Do you also see a "door ajar" indicator?

It beeps 7-10 times at start up then again no signs on what so ever and all doors closed. Weird.

Check your owner manual. I think it lists the different beeps and why.

And on my sons 2002 Taurus it beeped 5 times and turned out to be the air bag system.

Air bag system did that on mine

It suddenly started, then stopped, but you can see that the bip follows the flashes on the air bag dash light
