I used the Mother's Clay Bar kit and Meguiar's NXT 2.0 liquid wax. Awesome results, I'm probably going to do it again this summer when I have the time and also do my dad's F150...

This is how my Expo turned out...

I've used the Mother's Cali Gold and the Megs Gold Class. Both were okay at first, but I really like Clay Magic. Im not sure if it's a medium clay or not, but it grabs like one. You can get it at Napa fairly cheap. If you wanted to order online, I've heard great things about Bilt Hammer clay from the UK.

Given, there shouldn't be too much difference between all the clays here in the US because Auto Wax USA owns the patent to any and all clay sold in the US. So essentially, they're all from them, just a different name and color. Something like that.

There are a couple of different clays, one will be a little more aggressive so it depends on how bad your paint is contaminated. Put a plastic bag on your hand after washing your Ex, wet the truck and bag, and run your hand over the paint. If it feels really bad, you need a more aggressive claybar. I know Meguiars sells 2 claybar compunds, you can find them on their website, and then order them on Amazon for 1/2 price.

As for what to use after that, a good foolproof wax is exactly what snoborder said- NXT 2.0 is a great product. I clay/2.0 all the time... Hard to beat, especially for a not-OCD about waxing. I'm OCD and I still finish with NXT 2.0

I just bought a cheapie thing of 4$ Turtle Wax super hard shell, in a short fat little can, with a yellow sponge type applicator, it looks amazing, I cant imagine it looking any better, but when I get this thing on the road im really gonna buy some nice stuff for it
