These tires are very similar, but there are slight differences. I have owed both in the past. I found that the PC M/T's ware better and also have better wet traction. This I belive is do to the siphing in the tire.

What do you think?

i would go with the pro comp m/t tires. i like them and haven't ever heard anything wrong with them.

It comes down to price, however the BFG's will last longer :)
The Pro Comp is a good MT but treadwear wise its about 2/3 of the BFG.

I"ve had both and am currently running Pro Comp's. Don't have any complaints against either. I beleive the Procomps are lower price.

bridgestone dueler m/t: cheaper than the BFG's, quieter than the BFG's, awesome in the mud.

How long does it last? Nobody knows, it is too new.
But I like Birdgestone tires as long as the sidewalls hold together! hahaha

true, but i have about 600 miles on mine and they still have the nubs from the factory on them

heat kills MT's so until you go on a lonmg highway trip with them they will not wear quickly.

MT's lack wear on the street because the lugs are so large it builds up alot of heat. Siping really helps to reduce the heat buildup, it also helps with traction.

My 33x12.50 Remington Mud Brutes have been wearing exceptoinally well for a $85 MT tire with no siping. I rotate them every 5000 miles or so, and I monitor the air pressure using the chalk line test to ensure even tread wear.
I would expect them to last another year before needing replacing (after 1 year they are about 1/2 worn and the wear has slowed down a little)

OK...I currently have 3 PC MTs and one BFG MT on my rig...I personally think the PC MTs blow ass and I never plan on buying them again. This will probably result in massive patronization, but I've never rotated my tires, except for half-ass style when I get a flat, but yah. My truck is regularly out of alignment for extended periods of time when I am broke...but its currently aligned. From my experience, they wear ****tly/quickly. They are nice in looser gravel and not too bad in the rocks if you air down, but they aint too great in the mud. I romped hard in Azusa today and the lugs fill up with mud so damn fast you might as well have a damn all terrain on there. Its like cruising on racing slicks in the mud. However, when I looked at my one BFG MT in the front, it was all cleared of mud and ready to rock.

I have gotten several flats on PC MTs. Two were from rooostin over bushes and puncturing the sidewalls and tread, and one from a rock, and one from a mysterious slow leak that I never figured out. I had it inspected a couple times, and after 4wheelparts screwed me over for like the 4th time, I said screw it Ill just buy a freakin new one. Yah their little hazard warranty is nice, but if the tires don't look new, they'll screw you

Summary: Pay the $2 extra per tire and know you're getting the Baja Champion instead of some crapass knockoff

Haha, sorry for the mad crap talkin, but I've just had crap experiences with these tires and their sellers, and today was just another example of how they sucked...Thank you I'm going to bed
