has anyone modified their brakes to bigger ones? Bigger calipers or rotors?
i replaced my oem 15's wheels with a cobra 17's with 275x60x17 tires.

I noticed my braking power is not as strong with the new setup due to the bigger tires and rims. I just found that out this morning when i almost rear ended someone .

Any suggestions ?

thanks.

Power slot rotors? I don't have a clue about larger ones.

do you have the link to the write up. i can see the rotor on the picture
but is there a write up?

thanks.

Ah sorry, I linked to just the one picture. Thanks for the proper link above.

No write up, sorry. This was a tiny part of a massive project. I am setting the back two thirds of my 93 Limited body, onto a 99 chassis, etc.

The spindle change is the hard part. The spindle is what everything mounts to. The caliper mounting holes in the later spindles are 1/2" farther outboard. The stock calipers/pads bolt right on. If you or a friend can R&R the ball joints, axles, hubs, etc. then you can do it.

You are simply changing the spindles, and bolting on the 12" rotors. Good luck,
