I'm wondering whats the biggest metric tire I can get?...I plan on sticking with the OEM 16 inch rims and i can't seem to find any 31x10.50-16's but there are a million metric sizes out there.....which one is the best for my application.....i've got 255/70/16's right now how tall are thoes?

I'm sure this has been asked 9000 times but I searched and couldn't find what i was looking for

air ride?

You can fit P265/75/16 but will need to adjust the front bumper out with washers and trim a little behind the tire and turn the T-bars up and it may still rub a little bit. But I have seen it done and looks good.

yes I've got air ride AWD :)

I've heard I can't do a TT with my air ride that it will mess it up...

air ride really does an injustice to our trucks. I had it and removed it totally. I even went as far to find a new radio bezel on ebay without the switch and installed it. It's crap. I like wheelin and street racing so I thought it would be cool but it just can't keep up off roading at all. Not to mention I rubbed when it was not on off road.

Your tires are about 30" tall and about 10" wide. You know, I fit 265/75R16 with no lift, BUT, i had to trim the front part of my runningboards and it also rubbed on the top of the fenderwell when I went over speedbumps and so on, so those are out of the picture. Maybe 31" x 10.50" tire would fit well, the metric equivalent would be 265/70R16, it's about 30.6" tall and 10.4" wide.

Sweet....so 265/70/16's are the biggest I should go....now they will give me a little more highth then right??....The tire's i have now are almost brand new Michelens SUV Cross Terrain which i hear are sweet for highway......but with my mudding and wheeling i've been doing lately they SUCK...especialy in light/wet sand and mud......I'm gona get BFG all Terrain KO's

Thanks guy's....I gota go pricing on tirerack.com

PS. if anyone wants my newer tires let me know :)
