hey guys, was wondering if yall knew what the largest tire you could put on a ford TTB D35 axle, cause the 2dr explorer sport that i have is 4x4, and am wanting to put 38s on it, but dont know if its gonna tear up the hubs and bearings, or if i should stick to 35s and then goto 38s on a SAS, but the other part of the equation is that its a 90% street driven,so the stress that it would see from being offroad, would be minimal, i just need a lifted truck, for when hurricane season arrives, and i gotta drive thru flooded roads, or get over tree debris since my ford taurus is so low to the ground, and im pretty much on of those guys that if i cant get thru it in 2wd, im not gonna risk it, so i barely use 4wd function, i just need the ground clearance
and as the vehicle sits stock, is on 31s (31x10.50), which ironically measure 29.5 with a tape measure
and also what about factoring in the possibility of switching to the warn hub assemblies, would that help any with having large tires on there
right now my setup would consist of a superlift 5.5lift with SOA rear conversion, the F150 coil spacers, and a 3 inch body lift
