I know this question has been asked before, but I need help, quick. I lost a website address that sold a grill, that also came with the safety latch extention. I can't for the life of me remember it. I think it was "explorer" dot com, something or other. I wanted to get one fror my son, for Christmas. If anyone has any suggestions, please get back wih me. Thanks,

Yep, tha't it. I liked the grill on you Explorer.. Where did you get it? Can you get to the safety latch, w/o a screwdriver?

My grill is from Explorer Express. It came with a hood latch extension, but I was too lazy to put it on. I just keep a screwdriver in the glovebox so I can open my hood.

Is your's the brushed, or polished? Also, does it mount with-out *any* modifications. By the way, thanks for the hasty replies.

Mine is brushed. The only thing you have to do is take the grill shell off, bolt the billet insert on. Thats it.

Thanks so much. I'll get my wife to order it tomorrow.

Hey I've been thinking about getting a new grill also and was wondering how you like your grill. Is the original grill still on behind the billet grill? Was any cutting necessary?

I'll let you know in a few days, after we install it. Looks pretty simple.

Why do you have to reinstall the grill shell, *before* it's painted.
