i dont have a bl, and havent really looked at xs with the bl... but i hate seeing bl trucks...... but then again, i wouldnt spend $70, i would go to home depot, and get some rubber mat material, and then rivit it, and cut it to size....

Perf Acces had an add for those inside the lift kit when I got it. I do trhink the gap from the body lift is kida ugly, but nothing I can't live with. Have you found a set of these on the net? If so mind posting a link? I looked and didn't find them. I want to check them out a little more myself.

4WheelParts.com has em

Thanks for the link. I didn't find them when I looked. Any idea which would fit better on a 99 4dr? the 96-00 ranger or the 91-95 Explorer? Or would it matter?

Well if the Explorer ones really fit the '95s, you should get those. I don't think there is a difference in the 95 and 99s. I don't think I'd risk gettin Ranger ones..

I'm not quite understanding how they broke up the years on that site. Seems like the Rangers would be 93-97 and 98+. Who knows...

Yea...I was kinda curious how they lumped the 91-95 explorers together and left out the 96-00's on there. Kinda like Jim's idea too.

I used that plastic stuff that goes around the edge of a garden. Just cut it into strips then riveted the pieces together. Then put screw threads in the plastic lining of the fenderwell so I could screw my home made gap covers in place, so they can be removed. I can take a pic of it if you would like to see.

Yes the idea of the garden trim does sound like a good idea that stuff is pretty tough.... and Limted Ex if you can throw up some shots i would love to see how it turned out. i have the chance to order with the PA kit for $109 and the gap guards for $69 but don't quite think the price would be worth it. figure me and a buddy would tackle it later in the sping once it warms up here here in michigan

How about using an old truck bed mat. Those arent exactly cheap, $40 I think, but if you had an old one or one someone wanted to get rid of it would work good.

I put two pics of them on this page but it will take about 45 minutes or so for the site to update the page. So just check back every now and then.
I had considered hitting the rivets with some spray paint. but they are not that noticable to begin with.
