Anyone out there knows anywhere that carries the JDM Black Head Lights besides eBay?

Seems like the dealers on there try to rape us on shipping/handling, especially us Canadians.

Yes I agree, they average $105 and $65 for shipping here.

I better start chewing. :salute:

S'ok, had no computer a few months back, headlights were so bad I bit $170 for OEM replacements at the local parts store.:banghead:

Now That's a bullet!

That wasn't a bullet...

It was a full blown rocket... :salute:

i feel your pain! the first H.I.D. kit i got
kit = $125
shipping = $100 (and it was a small box and wighted nothing)
duty = $85
total = (cha ching) $310 (thank you sir, may i have another :eek:)

having one of the bulbs burn out 1 year later, and not covered by there warranty, priceless.

Yeah I know the feeling

That's why I don't ship UPS anymore, as they like to impose a brokage fee of 13% over and above the duties, what a crock.

That's the only bad thing being Canadian.

FYI ebay sellers usually sell the item for low and jack up shipping because ebay doesnt charge a fee on shipping costs when an item sells, just the item itself. Something to think about

we all know that. :D it's the oldest trick in the book

yeah I'm getting pretty sick of paying more to get shipping to Canada, only to see on the label it cost them 1/2 what they charge to ship to the next state.

Last thing I bought, $15 to the US, $25 to Canada, their actual cost according to the shipping label-$7:mad:

But what can you do?

heh, after seeing these prices, Ebay shipping is a bullet I'm willing to bite!:eek:

Yeah me too, I didnt check the prices before I posted the links. I have also decided to get them from ebay.:salute:

nope, different company. i got there number and called them. i could tell over the phone it was a fly by night company. they wanted to know how i got there number, but i didn't tell them. called a few days later, number didn't work. i thing the company was called revospec i think. i ended up buying a different kit from a different place later that two of my buddies recommend (they have the same kit in there cars for about 3 years now) and they have had no problems, and it cost about $125 i think in total from door to door

What company is that, cuz I don't know if I can trust Ebay with something like this. Housings are one thing...

i got them from a group buy from club gp.com . the guy was really good, and fast. as well, he has a a toll free # splashed on the box if you have any problems, or he will also give you his email address as well. the kit that i got from him also came with a wire harness that i had no clue what it was for, so i emailed him, and within a day i got a response from him. what he dose (or did, this was the summer that just past) is for guys like us that are not in the u.s. is sends a harness that powers the ballasts from your battery, and not from your head light harness. i know i am happy with it. i got a 8K kit, but if i were to ever get a new one, i would go for a 6K. he also had one kit with hi and low beam, as well as one for low only, which is the one i got. if you want, i can see if i can find more info on them for you.

That would be great thanks

o.k., i was trying to find the post in clubgp.com, but couldn't, so a talked to my buddy, and gave me the guys web page, it is http://shop.3bspecialties.com/main.sc. email him, and tell him that you found him in club gp's group buy, and i think he might knock off $10. i also looked at my paypal history and i paid $145 shipped for the low beam only kit. let me know how it goes.

Sweet, found it. Looks like the kit is $280 plus $10 more to CAN. I will send him an email, see what he says. May be a bit before I buy, not even 100% sure I'm going to HID's, but I will let you know what happens. Thanks a lot, I really appreciate it:biggthump
