got a black 05 limited ed. explorer.. 23,000 miles.

I plan on getting smoked headlights, and black taillights, with a billet grille.

wondering what your opinion is..

black on chrome 22's

black on black 22's

I'm torn between the two.

i've never liked the look of black rims..

however, if *everything* else is blacked out, and your truck is really cleanly done, the all black look can be pulled off and looks cool (best with a chrome ring around the outside though). post pics of the vehicle so we can guess better.

I have a black sport with stock aluminum deer hoove rims. It's blacked out except for the rims. The rims are kept nice and shiny. I'm not a big fan of chrome or shiny metal but a clean shiny set of wheels, even if the the truck has a couple of weeks worth of dirt on it, makes the truck stand out. Even my stockers bring attention to a dirty truck. It must be the shiny object syndrome. :afro:

Meet in the middle- black rim, polished lip. :)

if you put black head lights, tail lights and 22's on your explorer people are going to think your a drug dealer, my suggestion is try to find a lot that the people that sell crack don't use. but its your truck you can do what ever you want
