- '97 EB 4WD
First of, I would like to say hello. I'm new to forum from Jersey. Over the the summer I bought a '97 EB 4WD. The truck had a little over 100,000 miles on it. The A/C doesn't work...The guy I bought the truck from said his mechanic told him a hose was leaking and needs to be replaced. Now the winter is here I've noticed when I stop for a light the vents start blowing out cold air. Needless to say I started looking for an answer on the web which led me to the forum..I found that some people have a similar problem to mine and the blend door fix helped solve the situation. I came across a you tube video. The YouTube video link below is for a video showing the installation of the HeaterTreater blend door repair into the plenum box used on the Explorer from 96-01.

I don't know if it will solve my heat/ac problem, but I think it's a very good starting point along with the hose replacement. I also don't know if the video's been posted here already.
