Blower on high

1999 explorer limited, the blower switch is a thumb roller type, when the key is on the fan is on high all the time even if i roll the switch to the lowest setting....could the switch be bad or do i need to replace the resister ?? What do you think guys ....

There is no blower resistor per-say. The EATC HVAC system uses a blower module, which is located at about the 5:00 position relative to the blower motor in the engine compartment. Common failure point.

Make sure the electrical connector is clean too.
