2005 Ford Explorer XLT
I have a 2005 Explorer XLT and when I change the setting on the Heater/AC blower switch nothing happens. I replaced the switch, still having the issue. It seems like somthing is stuck on one setting. Any ideas? Could this be a blend door issue?

Check fuse, and blower resistor.
Is there power at the switch?

If the fan seems stuck on high speed, then the High Speed Fan Control Relay is hung up somehow. If it is stuck on slow then it has to be the switch or the resistor assembly. Both the relay and resistor are behind the dash down low on passenger side.

I agree with the above posts. I can forward the troubleshooting steps. My shop manuals only go to '03 but should help out. I just need to know if you have the DATC or manual climate control.

Good luck getting it sorted.

I'd bet on the fan blower motor resistor.
