It is not easy to drive and then apply the needle to the speedometer. Take it slow and do it with one one around. It's best if someone else could be in the truck to drive from the right side.
 






It is not easy to drive and then apply the needle to the speedometer. Take it slow and do it with one one around. It's best if someone else could be in the truck to drive from the right side.

I always stopped and started a lot and never tweaked the needle while moving. Stop to tweak the needle then drive again and compare to the Scangauge. Repeat over and over again until perfect. That's why I chose a rural highway with less traffic on it for the highway calibration and then tweaked it on a side road out there for lower speeds. Worked like a charm and didn't put anyone in danger. I had the Scangauge sitting in the dash right next to the speedo for the most part.
