Body lift, need help with front bumper

F#$#$@, G#$#$ D#$#$#! LOL! Damn PA and their stupid bumper brackets that don't work. I need some help with getting the front bumper on. The brackets are not working. Only screwed up the paint a little monkeying with the bumper.. Grrr. Battle scars! I need ideas..

hmmmm thats odd that they don't work. If you bought the body lift thats made for your truck they should work without a problem. Post a picture of how you have them mounted on the frame horns

The bumper rides to high with the holes in the bracket clearing the frame rails up front. Right now I'm just going to do the two upper holes so I can get it motoring around and then I'm thinking of punching new holes in the bracket and the bumper to get the other bolts in. Was curious what other peeps had done.

3" PA kit for the 91 - 94 X was #793, came with f/r bumper extensions. Just simple metal plates with holes drilled to elavate the bumper. Had to slightly cut notches out of bumper, for frame/extension to rest

That's the fix for the rear. I'm just using the upper bolt hole on the front right now.

the holes on the extension plates didn't match up (didn't feel like drilling)............ had to go with only using the bottom holes and adjusting accordinly, then tighten like a MF, only on their for decoration, no purpose

That's what I figure. It's not really a bracket failing per se as much as a design failing. Should have a offset hole in the bracket that you have to drill into your stock bumper mount.
