Ok got the body lift in. Easy for the most part, but I did have one PITA front body mount, and the radiator was kinda tricky. The bumpers ended up pretty nice for my custom fashoned brackets :D here's pics of the front bumper brackets:

TT/Shackles, 3" body lift, 31"

Heres the brackets I made:

All those are, are 1 1/2" X 3/16 weld steel, I cut 4" lengths then drilled them out on 3" worked great. I got the bend from putting them on and using a 4' crow bar on the bumper to get it level. ;)

so you have a small TT and a 3" body lift with 31's??

what tire size do you plan to run?
Looks good, the front bumper is a friggin PITA to get it sitting right after the BL, even with CNC cut brackets it was still a PITA :)

PA883, its for your ranger :D I have an almost complete kit, but I need a puck or two and some bolts.

I'll be keeping the 31's until I do the susp lift and gears/lockers which is quite a while ($) down the road then I'll be putting on 37's. As for the front bumper the way I did it it was EASY! The rear is what really sucked.

you guys in flordia get so lucky not having rust.....i took a peek at my body mouts to se what the bolts looked like...i looked at the ones behind the back seat and damn were they rusty.....they broke my fing 1/2" drive rachet when i was just trying to see if i could break it loose.....but anyway... nice job with the BL looks great.

I've actually only been in FL for 4 years before that the truck was in WA, plenty of snow and salt up there. Besides what do you think salt water does to vehicles! ;) I count myself as lucky thats all.

does a body lift hurt handling or ride quility at all?

Doesn't change handling or ride quality, but it will raise your CG a little.

haha your still better off......jsut shy of 10 Syracuse winters on my truck...

Would a Sport Trac BL fit on my 01 sport? Thanks fellas!

I wanna do a TT/shackles and a 3'' BL and then try to squeeze 33's under. Doesn't look like they'd fit on your ride, makes me kinda nervous...

They'll fit with some minor trimming. Do I smell a wrench-fest soon? :D

I'm so not looking forward to getting this on. I'm anticipating a nightmarish day.

how do u fit the ranger body lift on ur explorer? ive been trying to find a body lift and had no luck to fit my 96. please email skidookid222@yahoo.com with answers. thanks

I'm sure I wont be the last to tell you USE THE SEARCH FEATURE! Do a little looking and you'd have more info than you could need, but since I'm a nice guy I'll tell you anyway. PA853 (performance accesories body lift) will fit the 95-97 I believe EXCEPT bumper brackets I had to get creative with mine. Some people say the brackets out of the PA883 will fit. BTW these aren't FOR the explorer they're for a Ranger that brave people on here took the risk to try and figured out what worked (mostly). Do some research and you'll find everything you need to know.
