Body lift install on 95 2wd

Ok. 1995 explorer xlt. Everything was going great until I couldn't get the bolt removed from the core bushing. It is so tight in the bushing that even with the body sitting on it the bushing spins with it. I need suggestions on removing it or if I should cut it and try pulling it out or what...

Thanks
Eric

This has been the biggest hassle of my life. Not one thing about it has been easy. At this point, the car is finally sitting on the blocks, and everything is good to go except the damn steering extension doesn't fit. The notch in the extension isnt long enough to accomodate the tab on the upper steering shaft. I dont know what else to do but cut that stupid little tab off.

Some people don't even need the extension...but some people have to grind it down a little to get it to fit.

if you bought the 853 kit, using a die grinder or similar, grind some of the nub off the upper shaft.. I had to do that on mine to accomodate the extension.. The extension is definately needed.

I had to hold one of mine with a pipe wrench and heat both with a propane torch to get mine out.
